Nice mango "blackheart." Coyote toe bone nut with a purple heart wood stabilizer underneath. I'm not happy with the shim underneath it and trying to remember why and how I can fix it. I've played this but haven't seriously banged on it yet. too much time trying to finish up this series. I prefer to make my own bridges and nuts. I've been talking to local builders, studying and learning. This is my #2 cbg ever soooooo things are pretty green.

Nothing wrong with the shim. But do you need it? I like fairly low action at the nut - like penny thickness or a bit more - so I can do just at bit of fingering.
