Awesome banjo! Where do you get your fifth string tuners?

Thanks! They're all acoustic. They sound nice for "living room" playing.

Tracks sound sweet! Do you put a piezo in these or are these acoustic recordings?

Oh, yes, and the neck scalloping is fairly traditional for clawhammer banjos, as many players do play at that spot on the neck. One advantage is limiting the numer of frets you have to install!

Glenn -- The sound my banjos is quieter but sweeter than a skin head banjo. I've recorded a bunch of songs with my cigar box banjos which play automatically on my page. Give a listen!

And how does the sound compare to a trad banjo with the usual skin? Does it have that plunky twang?

That's a good box, nice and deep. Your way of offsetting the neck, scalloping that far back, is that so you can strum further up the neck?
