  • Now THIS is a fresh, foundational idea I really must incorporate. I love the strings through the body (Fender Strat-like) and in my cbg's I use the "right through the neck style" for many reasons... but if the neck length (as I often use) goes right to the bottom edge of the box, with 2 supports either side as you show here... and either a small indentation is made at bottom of the neck just down where the strings would pass through the neck, even a totally flush neck would work, I mean even in a very thin, tight fitted box. Further, I think placed right even 1 small woodscrew with a slight knurled head could be added so the design could be done even w/o magnets.
