Flippin cool Randy. Been looking for a lightweight and useable slide for myself. Bad left index finger (weakened by nerve damage) makes using a heavy steel slide awkward and difficult.

Mojobone Works custom lap steel slide...Mun [ brown ]Ebony with a profiled bone blank. I also profiled the ebony top as an additional playing surface.

Wow Gary, nice for #1 for sure! and Mudflap, that's an awesome guit. Speed bump too. I really like the boarder rope design (or is it scales?). Love the markers too.

Here's one of my more unusual builds...meant to be played while standing. I had to have my dad make a custom three point strap to facilitate the design, but it does the trick. I can play this one while I am standing, which is a great help. I carved it out of some recycled maple plank, and did the inlayed leafwork with the scrap.

Thanks Dave. Just tuned in D for now. Only had 10 gauge strings on hand. Just figured out I need a certain string setup for C6.  Learned a lot building it. Would do things a little different if I decided to do another one. Mainly the width of the neck.
