Comment by Scott aka Farmer Ted on April 14, 2013 at 7:49am Flippin cool Randy. Been looking for a lightweight and useable slide for myself. Bad left index finger (weakened by nerve damage) makes using a heavy steel slide awkward and difficult.

Comment by captain_mudflap on March 29, 2013 at 7:34pm Here's one of my more unusual builds...meant to be played while standing. I had to have my dad make a custom three point strap to facilitate the design, but it does the trick. I can play this one while I am standing, which is a great help. I carved it out of some recycled maple plank, and did the inlayed leafwork with the scrap.

Comment by SlowHound on March 29, 2013 at 4:15pm Thanks Dave. Just tuned in D for now. Only had 10 gauge strings on hand. Just figured out I need a certain string setup for C6. Learned a lot building it. Would do things a little different if I decided to do another one. Mainly the width of the neck.
