If one is an atheist, I assume that belief in the devil would be impossible. Without good there cannot be evil right?? No God, no Devil...at least I assume. I'm an Agnostic. I believe in whatever the hell I want, or nothing at all. It's a pretty cool religion...or is it a non-religion?? Hmmmm. Dammit!! Now I won't sleep tonight. ha ha ha.

'God rocks and The Devil sings the blues but when the devil rocks we all sing the blues' If that's not already a line in a song it oughta be!! Have that one on me...
If I was to eat myself, would I become twice as big, or I would I disappear altogether?!!

Atheist is a title given by the "church" for people who don't believe in what they themselves believe in.
Should your question not have been titled "Do all non believers in the church sing blues".
If you add on the part about the devil then that again is a word that the "church" has come up with about the opposite to what it again sees as right/good etc..
I think most people know the difference between right and wrong so why should some instituion stuff this down the throats of the masses just to have an air of superiority?

Why would non believers be in church in the first place if they don't believe.
One thing I have wondered about if a person doesn't believe in God thats his problem not mine but why get so upset over something you say doesn't exsits. And if the person whoe doesn't believe in God why do they know the bible so well.

The question is,,"Do Atheist sing the Blues about the Devil?" I would say yes, as all bad things that happen are not from God, and the Devil is disguised in ways that nobody sees. So any time you sing of bad times, the root of bad is not from God. So I would say indirectly ,yes they do, and yes you do to. So when you sing about your woman leaving you, is that from God? ( it can be :-0 )

Because when we are children, and are still learning the ways of the world and life, it is rammed down our throats.
At that age you have a very good memory so it kinda sticks where you don't want it.

I don't get the whole thing with christianity and atheism in the US. I can only speak from the viewpoint of my friends and family but in Sweden there ain't this conflict between believers and non-believers but most of us grew around the "culture" of christianity and is in a form in the background of our upbringing.
In school we learn about all kinds of religions etc. I myself am an atheist but I've read quite a few religious text just to geek out a bit and expand my knowledge.

Now the Swedish Church(evangelical/lutheran) has this notion of Satan as a force of evil and is debated if it is an actual entity and is up to the individual how to view it. At least that is my view of their views of their doctrine.

Hogs, this happens to Muslim kids, Chinese kids, and even third world native jungle kids get the good spirit bad spirit speach. Can't blame the parents. It's just culture.

I guess the actual words your singing isnt as important as the feeling your putting into your blues, if you fear the devil and sing about that its fear what drives your emotional tone, you may not believe in a devil or god but evreyone knows fear so its i.m.o accessable for evreyone, you just have to find wich sort of fear drives you best and you can sing evreything you want.

All religions are only beliefs !
Can not be proved to be true or not true .
No one knows for sure. Which one is wrong which one is right ?
Sure, the one you believe in is right, of course.
Depends on how you where raised or location.

What if everyone is wrong ?

Some believe some dont.
I have found one thing true about believers, they like to push there beliefs off on everyone else for some reason.
Like its there job to save your sole, if there is such a thing.

I would think devil dogs eat Christians or maybe Priest !

I'am like BB :
If there aint no blues in heavy, I aint going !

That's my story and I'am sticking to it.
