Oh well crap... I looked at the month and day, and not the year.  :(  I don't see a repeat for 2013.  What a heartbreak.  I'll try to be brave... [sniff, sniff]

ALL RIGHT!!! I actually found this notice BEFORE THE EVENT!  And it's in my town, at a joint I've been thinking I need to go back to for whatever reason.  

I'm working on my first CBG right now, but should have at least one to donate by August even with a busy summer planned.  These ain't that hard to build!

OK, it looks like we're gonna run a raffle similar to last year's for the Blues in the Schools program! If you have cigar box guitars, related accessories (pickups,) CDs, DVDs--anything to donate for the drawings, that'll be great! Last year we got a lot of fantastic contributions. Let's do it even bigger this year! Contact me her with what you have. I'll tell you how to get it to me, unless you're coming to the festival!

Box shot of Spider Didey.   Nice playing diddley.  The chords sound best right over the fret markers.   Piezo.   Never played by Micheal Jackson or Jack Benny.
