I am so glad we come in the store and got the Cigar Box. My son and I are already pickin' and Grin'n!! Enjoyed meeting you and talking to you Saturday.
The blue knobs came off of ebay, I just typed in blue guitar tuner knobs. If you are talking about the blue hole covers, I just sprayed a couple of curtain grommets blue and then sprayed the window screen that I glued under the openings orange.
Hi Roger,
Just wanted to say "thanks." You've been more than generous with your comments about what you do and how you do things. It's been very helpful to me. I belong to an "art guild" in Mesa, Az. I used to make pens on my lathe, but now I make CBG's. I will be selling them at our street 2nd Friday art exhibition and street selling thing. Your info has been invaluable to me. I only sell my CBG's to finance my passion, I make dulci-guitars for kids with autisim. These kids get 'music therapy' which is good, mostly clapping and rhythm, but with a dulci gutiar, they can't play a wrong note, instant success for kids who have a hard time communicating. Selling CBG's pays for the dulci's I give to the kidfs. Your info is gold. You've taught me A LOT about retail and how to make this work. Thanks, pardner.
Well Roger, Girlfreind LOVED the box, even more than the gold heart i got her too, in the good books for ages now. So i guess i will keep her around a bit longer, Her son is getting in the CBG's now too so its 2 against one...
Rock on....Pete
Thank you, Roger. Actually, the frets are pieces of clothes hangers. It would have looked better if I had used real fret wire, but I was trying to keep the cost down.
