  Hi Wayne, and welcome. You will tneed a truss rod or some other way of stiffening the neck. If you don't have a fretboard it should be pretty easy. Just rout up the length of the middle of the neck just wide enough to to glue in a piece of carbon fiber or an 1/8 inch square tube and then laminate a fretboard on top. That should do it. If you already have frets or a fretboard on it, you can probably do it from the back of the neck as well. I just won't look as pretty.
