  howdy jeffery,just stopped by to fill you in on the points you made about the wire spool sound check video i did. first is strings--i used the top 3 wound strings on a nylon set made by labella--900 golden superior is the particular style,for the short drone string on the top i used a cat gut string from a balabalakia i bought from e-bay that had that one only string on it and it seems very old,but worked out in this case. for the tuning i tuned the 3 regular strings D A D and tuned the drone short string to A at an octave higher than the other A. so it works out to be A D A D. as for the action height it is set at an average of 1/8th in. at the nut rising to 1/4 in. at the end of the fingerboard and at the bridge it is approx--1/2 in. hope these answers help you,thanks for your comment.
