Tim, ok. Is there any welding done on the square tube to the pieces of metal?
It really looks neat. If it is ok with you, I might try to use this in one of my CBGs. Thanks.
Tim, great looking CBG. Fantastic idea with the rod running through box. Could you just run the rod through the box without enclosing it in the case? It wouldn't look as good as yours, but you would have more room. I take my hat off to you for thinking of this. You should get a CBG award for this idea.
Cool man! I used to live in Junction, and went down south a few times, but nowadays I'm near Vail... so, I'm not sure the next time I'll be down your way, but the same offer applies: if yer ever around here, hit me up!
BTW, I've got a Colorado CBG group here, and I'd be glad to have you join there as well! Happy to see more of us CO folks popping up, too...
Welcome aboard, Terry! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBB, CBU, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc. -- I see you are ahead of me here).
Tim: I've got a ton of hobbies, but everything but guitar playing has taken a back seat to the CBG thing. This is a hoot. I find this to be the most instantly rewarding of anything I've undertaken. Are the photos of your first build? It is very nice.
