  • I am not sure about your wiring question.  I have only done 1 pickup at a time

  • That was one of my prettiest builds Sylver.
  • Hi, thanks for the comment on my video, glad you liked it : -)
  • hello mate
Thanks for checking my website out glad you liked it thanks for the kind words :-)

as regards buying wood i mostly buy mine from Ebay theres loads of wood sellers on there

i know B&Q sell Oak skirting board - i think it's 20mm thick you could make up a laminated neck with it by gluing two bits together (altinate the Grain ) but it would be a lot more work but would make a good strong neck - just a idea if you dont have a ebay account

    hope that helps

  • Hi mate
it would cost too much for me to sell a neck on it's own as it takes the most time to make than any other part of the build
i have two complete guitars for sale over on my website if your intrested you couls always make me a offer !

  • Sylver, here is a pic of a cigar box guitar I built with a strat pickup

  • Thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if I said it in the vid or not, but the pickups I used are a squire for the neck pickups and a no-name cheep one for the tail. I got a squire pickup to replace the tail (though the vid is from before I did that). Also I have everything going through a Digitech PR250 under a preset called "Cowboy" (basically a Texas, outlaw country sort of effect, reverb and what not).

  • Hi if you want to send me a message with your email address I can send you an mp3 of the drum track - I have 2 versions
  • Hi Sylver - just a guitar A string - not a key I am used to but seems to do the job. Glad you enjoyed it - really is a fun instrument and I have sold it so now I have to part with it!
  • Hey Sylver, my three string CBG is about 1/2" apart. That is what my strings are; I don't know if it is right or not. Try it and see if you like it; if not move it until you do like it. Sorry, for the delayed response; I have been out of town.
