Kale, firstly, sad to heatr you have COVID again! That`s a real bummer!

It`s good to hear you share your reason for making the regular videos. I suppose it`s like a lot of us who make our guitars, just for the fun of it! 

I make guitars and mostly give them away as presents. I`ve done that from day one and it`s amazing how much they are appreciated and, of course, I always end up with a few beers out of it!

I`m not much of a player but, recently, I`ve been playing open G on a 5 string, Keith Richards style! With the richer sound I`ve been really having fun and playing all sorts of stuff, old and new and Mrs. Belly even commented on the playing!

So, that thing about liking and trying different styles, instruments really does ring true!

Anyway, thanks for these videos, they do inspire people and they certainly make me smile :)

“Because we can” That is an amazing opportunity when you think about it. I’m inspired to work on my playing and/or builds when others share what they are up to via video and pictures.

I’m feeling much better. At the onset I knew I would need some time to work through it, so I went back to our most recent Slingers Zoom session recording (Songs of Faith) and broke out a few more songs to tide me over to this Monday for a Virginia based Zoom session. Our longest break since we stared Zooming!

Eat a raw onion sandwich about the time you think you may be getting better.  I will take you over the healing hump and on the way to full recovery..

"Bummer", 2 of our very regular Video Posters, are down with Covid, stay positive and fight on Poorness & Doug, in my mind the main reason we do Videos is "Because We Can", and we enjoy it, regardless of whether one is a talented musician or not, and this untalented Bum is about to get off his backside, and try to start posting some more sound sample Vids of his builds. :-)

Crap!   Say NO to Covid, Kale. 

 And the why do you do videos thing does interest me.  It used to be I did videos for an audience.  Most of us amateur players lack an audience.  Used to be a sizeable audience of semi-like minded folks here that was a good audience for me.  And also, some times I just wanted to share songs I liked.   And being interested in blues and old time song history, learning a song for a video was learning and sharing history.

You have the LARGE BONUS of wide spread interests and audience and that let people to SEND INSTER MUNTS to you to try and review.  That is KOOL!

I just sent up a prayer that you are well soon.  Get well and if you don't have all your rabies, covid and heebie-jeebies shots - go get em.  God bless.
