Fine lyrics UJ !  never heard that one from TvZ ,lefty and pancho ,and a load of other vinger pickers are by him, while this one opens up a texan hearth by all means ! thanks ! good ballance indeed !

Great choice for a song, and I like your version: putting’ it in the folk tradition instead of the kinda fast boogie blues shuffle. I always like that verse ‘bad news from Houston’ like it really captured a time and place, and TVZ and the poor man precarious hard livin’ musician life.
