I was wondering how the action is on these? I have a friend that has one, but the action seems like it would be better for just a slide.

Lori, most players use thick slides on cbg’s, the action has to be higher as to not dig into the frets with the slide. However, you can play slide on a lower action, you just need a thin slide, this will limit  digging into the frets. Hope that helps? :)
