Thanks Unc, The precision is due to the pre Christmas gift to myself. A bench top drill press.Good idea for a slider!

Those side markers look good, Carl.  Better and more precise than mine.  They look like a method I use - 1/8 drill bit, sharp.  Small hole and fill with paint.  Polyurethane over the paint.

If I am going to use the guitar for slide, I like the markers right on the frets to make slide play easier.  I use all the help I can get.
