I bought 4 pieces of sapele hardwood from the timber merchant, cut to size 750mm x 55mm x 2mm.

Cost £5 each but I've now got enough stock for four more guitar necks. Great.........CBG number 2 is under-way!

I think I'm officially addicted. Cigar boxes and the electrical gubbins etc are not too difficult to get hold of and the postman seems to be delivering stuff almost every day at the moment while I build up my stock of components. It's nice pieces of hardwood for the neck that I find trickier to find. Anyway I'm off to a local timber merchant tomorrow while the missus is out. Music at the moment is a bit random but it's great fun noodling!

Now that I like, well done you...... what tunes to you scrape through playing..????  I tend to get about halfway through something then my mind all go's to pot and I end up doing something else instead. At least the listener gets two tunes for the listening of one...!!!!

I have so many ideas careening round my noggin though, Autumn Winter is coming and time to knuckle down again I suppose.....       Keep up the good work, it all makes sense somewhere...!!!

Look out Martin, you'll end up hooked like the rest of us.

There are no CBG building rules. My own maxim is "everything that's easy was once hard" which is just a jazzed up way of saying things get better when I practice doing them.
