personally with my impaired vision the new design is harder for me to see.  it will limit my time on here now.

It seems we've lost the ability to personalize the colors & look of our pages as well.  All previous personalizations are gone and the option has been removed from the settings area.  That's a big bummer... but I really have no right to complain considering how utterly obtrusive i was with those settings on my page :)

I do hope it's an accident. I'd rather not try to "gussy us up" so we look pretty for the LA Times visitors.   I believe the old design is a better reflection of us as a community.

Wow - it's changing every time I come back to read a comment.  Now that I know you aren't intending to make it all shiny and metro-sexual, it's sort of funny.
