hey anyone,

I go to find a short slide (1.5", heav wall pyrex, inner diam medium) and cant seem to find some to choose from. I see a nice pic from Jim Dunlop showing all sizes, then go to find details and they show specs for standard 212s , 218s, etc.

any source you know has a baotload to choose from that give actual specs so I can buy with confidence would be mucho mucho appreciated,

thanks! ET

I use a wine bottle neck cut down. Any where from 2.5" to 1". They are pretty thick.

There's a short (stubby) version in both medium and narrow diameters although MF doesn't appear to carry both.

I like Willy's slides, advertised right here on the nation.   My momma say God heps them who heps themselves.

Thanks all! I think I'll try Willy's Slides first...I'm so oddly particular i usually customize everything anyway. So Willy's sounds good. Happy New Year!

WILL DO! thanks!
Hey, Eric!   Did you ever hep yourself to some slides?  What worked?
Man, I ]m just so particular...really need to feel it fit before I buy one...so finding any place that sells a FULL compliment of slides is impossible.  even specialty guitar places around LA only have the standard Dunlop limited selection,  I even see what I think I'm looking for in photos of their slides, but can't find one even on their website that measures at 1.5" thick wall...  bumming. My main shortest slide i have is a 218 (213?) Dunlop --- but it has etches in it and scrape the strings pretty bad...I  may need to find a local glass blower to make me one....seems dumb since I know my perfect slide must exist on a shelf already somewhere!   I'll keep looking...just dont' want to order one through the mail only to find it doesn't fit and have to send ti back etc.
