OK.  I'm pledging to visit this site more regularly again.  There's so much good stuff tucked away in the comments and resources.  I haven't built much for a while, although I do have several planned, including a 2-string bass.  I always enjoyed sharing my builds, the occasional video, and seeing the works by others.  Hanging on with my buddy Andries (A.D. Eker)!

Yup Uncle ! they are limited to the Beach ,Gospel, and Blues &Bluegrass Stages only ! i never did get that split to Facebook, im just no fan of the suckerburg Guy ! To bad James , its strange to exspirience in the Old Age like people no longer go to the old neighberhood cose it reminds them that they are getting older ! funny cose everybody is ! and its nothing to be a shamed of ? IL PROBEBLY  BE STILL HERE UNTILL cb gITTY SHUTS THE bING

I really miss. Dave and pick everything keeps changing. With the times Richard Sunberg started the Cally fest and is very active on Facebook We see each other's videos and communicate on there. I think CBN. has change a lot over the years. and many just have other interest. I post My videos. on Facebook and you tube and My Own website. It's sad that CBN with over ten thousand viewers' yet only a few ever watch and comment on videos. I also enjoy the pictures. of other members builds I also build and own many guitars CBG and factory guitars I think Rick like me just gets discouraged when no one it seems watches videos or comments except for the few.

Thats mostly due to some folks who are no longer that active as they where!! Richard and me we  go on and on about Tickets and Posters, and of course Lynas whit his Magnifico Illustated  Video's who set everybody in fire and Flame ! Yes Indeed those where the Day's ,Getting sentimental Here! but again dead Virtual Friends ! Any time Any Place ,Build a stage ,Flick on the Spotlights and JAMM i say  Bollocks to who ever is offended  ! Sorry in advance ! to all those who are ! offended  by these words ! enough sayed !

That's a solid point AD. It's not like Califest is something that requires planning. I can simply post a video and... bam... we're all there. In previous years, it seems like the story started weeks before the videos though.

i see the Problem !! more then One Ship (CBG Nation,CBG Facebook) and even More Captains to Sail it !!  i believe its a lot of BOEEHOEEE by a lot of people that seem to be talking about something that was not there thing to begin whit ! But who am i  anyway !! People Die !! and people Stop doing what they did, so what, the world is Bigger then that  ! and it still keeps on Going ! even people ,who died keep on site's that suppost to end still go on!

(The CigarBoxBuilders  ClubHouse) i mean what are we Talking about a Virtual Fest that Never Rely  Happend, and Maybee never will again in the coming Future !! its not a collectif thing ! Anyone who can produce !! can !! Anyone !! its not restricted to The Nation on THE CBG Nation site Or on Facebook !! its all infiltrated Anyway !

The discussion is interesting and sad. I concur that CBN is on life support.

I checked out some of the Facebook groups and noticed the same people posting the same content on multiple groups. I’m not willing to wade through all of that. Facebook just throws everything together and seems more commercial than CBN.

I like the way CBN breaks the different areas out. So I can check out what I’m interested in. I enjoy seeing pictures of what others are building and hear people playing what they are building and interacting with those of you who post there.

Not sure what to do about the situation, but will enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.
