The Gitty License plate box kit is only $12.99, as far as I’ve seen, all Gitty kits are all great, provided one has the skills to build them? There are some videos & pictures of some of them here in the Pics/Vids tab?

Basically you want to brace the spot underneath where the bridge will sit, so that it will support the downward pressure of the strings. Most mount the neck in a neck pocket, like the majority of 6 stringers? Search the pics for ideas, there’s a lot, you just have to sift through them? Good luck

FYI: There is a Padron box that is darn near perfect to mount a standard USA license plate on top.  The Padron 7000 cigar box that I have measures 6 7/8" x 12.5".  I plan to cut out the middle of the top so that it will be open under the car tag.
