Deep in the Heart of (Frozen) Texas
We had a pretty treacherous week in Texas but it looks like the state is on the mend. I thought this old Perry Como song would be a nice tribute to the state. It was so cold my fingers were numb so it took me a minute to get the rhythm... but it picks up during verse 2. Happy Sunday everyone!

Kale, I love Texas, lived there as a child, and I hate seeing this going on there, Oklahoma, Kansas Arkansas. All were once my stompin' grounds.
I see so much division in this country. Almost all of it bullshit. My family won't talk to me because of my refusal to join Facebook... This is the last place that I have found that hasn't been destroyed by hatred.
No offense meant to anyone. I really like you guys and gals and hope this place sticks around awhile longer.

I can't disagree with you Ray. Those are two topics I try to avoid. I didn't mean anything political with my comment about the energy leadership. Just feeling for the tens of thousands of Texans (including my niece) who still don't have power. So awful.

That is an appropriate hat. I am glad things are looking up for you, at least in the big D. Sounding good, man. Good but sad words. Great song choice and adaption. I hope folks push for positive change and safeguards and vote a few SOBs out of office. Number one on that list for me would be Cancun Ted.
