Uncle John...the drop off from the nut to the tuners seems to work fine. I've always used this set-up on my straight headstocks. If I do an angled headstock and scarf joint situation it is lower of course. Thanks for lookin! I appreciate your time.

Yup. The very highest 9s for esthetics. Love the spoon tail. Love the box too and center sound hole. Like the fret board and paddle head stock. Great setting and pic.
I may not like the fast drop off from nut to tuners - unless you have made it work well. I hope you did.
