I just picked up .....
...an amp/monitor kinda thing and I don't know what it is. I think it is some sort of monitor/amp. No idea of power, has 2 XLR inputs, 2 x vol/treb/mid/base knobs and reverb and chorus. The footprint is that slanty monitor profile, and the speaker (Might be a tweeter in there too) seems to be about 12". the box is about 24x24x20-ish high.
What the hell is it? I plugged my 2 string bass in and it makes noise, though it doesn't like piezos, no output from them. I'll post a pic later, I'm at work now.

Some sort of amp for microphones or keyboards maybe. What does it say in the little oval next to where it says PS-30? I can’t quite make it out.

Definitely a keyboard amp then. I think they can work fairly well for bass, definitely better for bass than a guitar amp. A keyboard amp can cope with the low frequencies that a guitar amp is not designed for.
