String buzz
Still trying to fine tune my first build, i have string buzz/rattle and the only thing i can come up with is the angle from the spoon i used to hold the end of the strings to the bridge is not enough, i have raised the bridge quite a bit but buzz is still there though less. I have tried a steel bolt, brass bolt and a bit of marlin bill and they all produce it.. so before i change how/ where the strings attach i thought i would ask for other ideas on what can produce buzz/rattle. . Thanks

look for other -nonobvious things while you are poking around. I had one drive me crazy that turned out to be a loose tuner head.

I will be out to sea working(fishing) for two or three weeks but hope to try some of the suggestions when wx permits. It is tough building these things when your building is rolling around. I also was thinking i can screw the lid down to see if thats part of the problem . Thanks everyone.

That's why I suggested seeing the guitar. as I suspected it may be that issue. If a top is not fixed securely to the sides, it will not produce good sound or output.
I should say produce better sound and output if firmly connected to the sides.
