First Annual Sunny California VIRTUAL CBG & Roots Music Fest ~ February 2nd until ????

You, my friends are cordially invited  to the First Annual Sunny California VIRTUAL CBG & Roots Music Fest

(Note: as used here, virtual means IMAGINARY).

This is a potluck meal, so please bring a covered dish.  If you can, bring a signature dish from your region, such as fried okra from the American south, tortillas from Mexico, sweet corn from Iowa, Fish and Chips from the U.K.  and Vegamite sandwiches from Australia.

Please RSVP and tell us what vehicle you will be driving and what snacks you are bringing.   Air Force One takes up a lot of space.  There will be limited parking for air craft.   There is plenty of boat and submarine parking, but it is first come first serve.  We have room for over 100 buses.  We've been told to expect busses from Canada, Mexico, Australia, Holland and the U.K.  We hope the U.K. folks will drive at least one of those double decker busses.

Activities include: continuous open mike in several different areas. Vendors. Submarine races.  Disc Golf Tournament.   Largest and smallest fish contest at the fishing event .  Nude beach.  Regular beach.  Disco.  The grand opening of the west coast branch of Uncle John's Pawn shop (free corn dogs to the first 500).  Ugly dog contest at 4 pm.  Goat Rope Rodeo at 5 pm.   And MANY MORE.

Please RSVP.  ASAP.  WTF.

LOL Thanks Kigar,,,,, I think I was there ??? I can't remember

Maybe the photos are lost in your virtual memory?

Could be. If so, that would be me down in the lower right of the photo, and the bulk of the crowd heading in a direction away from my position! In fact, you can see several orderly lines of people departing towards the parking lot and street at the upper right. Hated to ruin the day, but I had a lot of space.

In three days we will release a Memo that explains everything you ever wanted to know or not know about Cali...

Thanks soooo much

Use good judgement on that.  It could be incriminating.  Could you use your choice of the photos you already have of me?   The one with the fish or the one with Mick, Sting and Wes Carl.  I look good in the one with Emmy Lou, but she had her eyes closed.

Anyone see where I parked my car?? It has a tent next to it, or it did.,..,what a sea of tour buses.,reminds me of the GD shows backin the 80's.,.,

Are you still looking for your car, Jerry?   What kind of car is (was) it?   I saw Kigar, both Richards, Mick Jagger and Emmy Lou Harris in a blue Olds Cutlass.  It was pretty beat up and about a  2000 model.

Did anyone find a brass slide?

nope, wasn't me

AGP, your  CALLYFEST vehicle, or part of it made it to the shore! The mayor is in my ear to do something! Any extra pontoons so I can shove this out to sea in a Se direction.

Tell the Mayor to bury that one Richard, I recently purchased an updated and more economic model  :-D

A lot of static, if your saying bury the mayor, got it AGP! Your new eco model has all the convenience of home. I guess the plan next year is to use your driver to to rotate a steamboat wheel to get to calif. May a small sail on top when your driver rests.
