Cigar box warped

Hi all ,
Well I finally finished my first neck, went to grab my cigar box and found that it is severely warped ! I had prepped it about a month ago and have looked at it several times since and never saw any warpage. We have had some very hot weather the past week so I think that's what did it. Anyway question is do I need to brace the box next time , and how would I do this ? Also I really liked this box and I am having trouble finding another. It is a La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados - anybody have one I could buy or know where I could get one ?

I might have one of those boxes, but as far as the warpage, I've experienced the same thing recently. On a road trip through the central valley in california it was 120F. I'm wondering if I should expose it to moister, or since it's done what it's gonna do, take the hardware off the box and sand it to fit.

How warped is it? Can you close the lid and screw it shut to take out the warpage? I have had warped lids but the box part has never warped yet. If its just the lid, screw it down to take out the warp. Remember its just a cigar box guitar, not a Martin, a little warpage adds character.

It's warped real bad, and it's the box part somehow the lid survived

Keith, the dimensions of the box are 10 3/4in long x 6 3/4in wide x 2in tall. Here's a couple of pictures.

I really appreciate your time and effort trying to help me out ! I was really hoping what you had might be similar to what I was after but the box is to wide and finish is complety different. Again I can't thank you enough for what you have done. If you do run across the box I am looking for please let me know.
