Thanks For your great work on a cool project as this.

OUTSTANDING effort from everyone on here, captured the spirit of Neil Young in every song!  Well done Nation and well done c sharp merle for putting it together :-)

Wonderful tribute. I downloaded to day and began listening. There is an amazing variety of instruments, mixing and styles. I love it all.

Would it be possible for the artist to provide a list of the instruments that they used, and maybe they software they used to create their contribution. I'm fascinated by the production quality and very curious about how it was accomplished.

To Tom:I  used a Shane Wagstaff dog bowl resonator, into a Roland cube amp kept low. Also Marine Band D harp, on neck brace.

I recorded using my Tascam 4 track, no effects, and using only internal mics. . I did it all in one take, as decided to keep simple. In past albums, I have used extra tracks to add lead guitar, add extra vocals  etc, but song I picked here only asks for the basics:) Lazy in my old age lol

Thanks Jamie. This is a good education.

Helluva job everybody.  We sound great!

Just finished up listening - real good combination of acoustic and electric styles and mixes both large and small - I think it's a great representation of NY's catalog.  I'm probably most impressed with everyone's vocals.  I thought that was the hardest part this time around.

Free world = rocked!

"Tell MeWhy" was recorded using my 6 string Slowpawcaster CBG tuned open Gsharp, Audacity with Marshall ASD50D Acoustic amp with Shure SM58 mike, no special effects except double tracking vocals on the chorus :-)
