Yup smilingdog. The looks on the faces and the layers of coal dust that you know was coating their lungs. I believe many of them knew they were cutting their own lives short so they could provide for their families. Some were lucky enough to find other jobs before it was too late but there's lots of sad endings.

Thanks Unc. This has become my favorite 3 string for acoustic playing. It's hard for me to clawhammer in 3/4 time so I have try and figure some kind of compromise out mixing finger style and claw together.

Thanks Vinylhed. I've been wanting to do this song for some time but kept getting side tracked. The sound of this particular git brought me back around to it!
