I'll get something together Doug. I think this will end up being a drone instrument and I'll use something else to play a melody on top.

Interesting, very interesting Kale! I’m waiting to see how you incorporate it into a song. Maybe a 1-chord song like Put the Lime in the Coconut! (The only one I’m aware of.)

Thanks Taffy. It's very similar to a hammered dulcimer minus the little bridges. I may mess around with something like that at a later time or possibly try different sizes of strings to get multiple notes. It's more of a drone instrument, similar to a Tanpura or Shruti, so probably not a lot of use in melodic stuff.

Hi Poorness, Interesting stuff, reminds me of the hammered dulcimers I used to make. You are halfway there with that build.

Does one need 3 of them in different chords to accompany a song? Haha.
