Hamilton is a hip hop, pop and R&B styled Broadway musical telling the story of America’s founding fathers, specifically Alexander Hamilton. It doesn’t sound like it should work, but it’s amazing. I’ve been listening to the cast album non-stop and figured I’d give it a go.

This is a portion of the song Guns and Ships where Marquis de Lafayette has convinced France to join the fight and he and George Washington realize they can win the war by cutting off the British navy at Yorktown, but not without the help of Washington's right hand man, Alexander Hamilton.
