The previous cutter heads were crap - this time i kept it as simple as possible: A Visaton EX 45-S Exciter with a sharpend drill glued on it. That loudspeaker doesn't have membrane but a plastic mounting plate which vibrates.<br></br>

The soundfile was equalized with the Audacity program; high frequencies above 6kHz were cut off, the rest was equalized with an inverted RIAA filter. The next step is to install a feed screw (the cutter head was moved by hand for this recording).<br />
