I didn't know that they still did projects like this in schools anymore.  I'm impressed. I would like to see similar projects as this done at the schools in my area. My wife and I did manage to organize a simple woodworking class for my son's Kindergarten class this year and had a lot of fun but, I would have had a blast doing this project!
