Great sound dig your style 2 piezo hey I'll give that a go I'm using 27mm glued in the through neck under bridge I found it a deeper richer sound plus a 250k pot helps .going back for a second look .

Yes, I use 2 piezos wired together to a 500k A pot, glued under the bridge, on the inside of the lid.

Nice sounding box- acoustically and electrically!  Are you using piezos?  I don't see a magnetic pickup.
