"Thanks Matthew and Doug", and yes Doug, like most popular songs, such as this one from the early 30's, has been recorded by numerous Artists, each and every one in their "own" style or form. :-)

To me “sort of” means making the song your own and that is what you did Alan! I clearly recognized the tune and it sounded great!!!

"Thanks Again UJ", and also "Thanks Poorness", definitely a "Hats On Backwards" Amp Settings for this one, however "Horse Trade" also sounds very nice on the quieter more subtle Amp Settings, and is also quite loud Acoustically Unplugged. :-)

"Thanks UJ", like yourself back around 1964, this one by The Animals along with Van Morrison & Them's version of Baby Please Don't Go, Canned Heat's Rollin' & Tumblin', plus a lot of the early Stones stuff were high on my list of favourites, and as you say, it wasn't until sometime later, that I realized they were all old Bluesy/Folk Tunes, which then opened up a whole new world of music for me. :-)

About the second song I ever was really crazy about was The Animals cut of this song. - circa 1964.  Like most kids, I thought it was new and the latest and greatest.  It was actually and old folk song.
