Like said at the end of my post, it doesn't always have to be spot on for music, lots of people listening can't tell anyway. LOL

Thanks, Paul.  I am trying to place the slide directly above where the fret would be (if there were frets).  This song uses the 2 and 4 fret spots and they are not actually marked so it is by guess, by ear and by golly.

 Uncle John, Are you placing the slide in between the fret markers(like fingering a note) or over the fret marker?

For those not aware: A fretless git must be played with a finger or slide over the area where the fret would be to be in tune, either side of that line will be sharp or flat. 

Of course a sharp or flat note can be part of the song too. ;)

anks, Danny.  Go for it.  This would be tablature (fret spots) for approx. how I hear and do it - kind of phrase by phrase:  . 02444420    02444442   02477775  0244420 02402,   Lots of slide movement (tremolo) for human voice characteristics.
