Yes a bone slide would have been perfect.Glad you like the carving,It's really strong an light.

Wonderful carving.  Amazing that it is strong enough to support strings.  Very cool.   But don't you need a bone slide?!    I prefer brass.   Neat location.  I like old grave yareds.
