Dave, I usually just use Windows Movie Maker to to trim the beginning and end. You can also do titles, captions and credits with it and adjust the volume. You can add photos if you want and do one like Andries does. Some special effects are available with what they call Animations and visual effects. If more is needed I use one I downloaded called Wondershare Filmora which has split screen capabilty but I don't qute have it figured out yet. I'm comfortable using movie maker and I'm sure it's able to do a lot more than what I've figured out since I'm pretty new to all of it.

Thanks Uncle, Jim, Wes, Pick, Dani. It can be a great place to shoot. I just learned how to trim the videos to clip off the turning on and shut off stuff. Now I gotta get an ap for real editing. Soon on that one. Any favorites fellas?
