some history tells me the diddly bow originated with black slaves putting a piece of fence wire on the side of their house. fence wire, like broom wire, doesn't stretch after tuning. i have a diddly bow six feet high that i had to use a piano wire on, but,..........it certainly doesn't gave the dynamics and resonance your piano structure has, nice. low and sturdy.

Sounds good.  Probably not so good for lap style.
