@ TN Twang , I'm not sure if I have or not.  I use an Android app called Virtual Choir Creator.  It lets you record or import a base track then record along with it up to 8 frames.   It can get a little bit out of time, but there is a sync function... a little clunky to use.   You can adjust the volume of each track, but no tone or anything.   

I use a old broken screen phone with a earphone jack.  I have a 10 foot extension cable with a microphone splitter on my end.  I bought a cheap (like $8) condenser mic with a 3.5mm plug and a pair of cheap headphones.
