Very nice treatment of this great old hymn. You need to get together with that co-worker and do some vids together. Even better, convince him to make a CB fiddle. I've made a few that sound surprisingly decent. And you know Unc, the Bible does tell us to use whatever talents we've been given or we'll lose them. Biblical scholar that I am.

Yup, Jay.  I had a co-worker friend get me started too and like you, I am forever indebted.   I've paid it forward getting others started.   Sad thing on that, is that some folks have a lot of talent and not much like to or want to.

I got a guy i work with that plays, fiddle, violin, Bass, Guitar and Banjo.

I his his fault I play Mandolin, guitar CBG, harmonica and dulcimer.

I can't thank him enough!!!!

That three has some big sound.   Nicely played.    Good thing we don't work together.   We'd be in trouble.
