Mini-amp shootout - TomsLine Engineering vs Roland MicroCube

The classic Roland MicroCube and the new Tomsline DSP 10W go toe-to toe. I've always loved my Microcube, but it's got a bit pricey these days, so here's a contender for the mini amp title.

Comment by shane wagstaff on January 23, 2019 at 6:26am: In my opinion the Toms line has a lot more bottom end than the Roland and this is one thing that let's the Roland down . Don't get me wrong . It's a cracking little amp . I have 2 . I think the Toms line is the better sounding amp .

Just my opinion guys .

Comment by Paul Craig on January 19, 2019 at 8:28am: The Tomsline is a bit brighter toned than the Roland(if they had the same treble/mid/bass settings) which could be the circuitry or the speaker used. That can be a plus or minus depending on user likes/dislikes.

I think that the Tomsline is very comparable to the Roland from the sound/tone test and the price is better.
