Making a Giant Kazoo from 1" PVC (Silly DIY Project)
It's been a while since I did an episode of Kazoo Fridays, so I figured it was time. This week, I attempt to make a giant kazoo from 1" PVC scraps and a piece of wax paper. Surprisingly... it worked!

Thanks Doug and AD. This design definitely needs a little more experimentation. I'm thinking a more pliable membrane might help. The wax paper works great when it lays flat, but doesn't fold well. You notice there's kind of a resonant frequency from the pipe so it does resemble a didge.

Interesting video Kale! The tone of this one seems to be lower and more mellow (I like that!), but inconsistent. Clearly more room for experimentation.

It’s like a baritone sax of kazoo’s :) A thinner walled pipe would have been perfect for this!
