Eddy Arnold.  I remember a friend's folks had an Eddy album with this song.  Good stuff. Nicely slung and sung.

Thanks Kale! This one has grown on me. Marilyn, center box, chose it and it took some work on my part to be able to play it slow enough. I got the thumbs up from her afterwards, so I was very happy.

I see you are counting heads Alan! You could be number 12. Pieter, down in the lower left corner, joins us from New Zealand, so I think the time might work since you aren’t far away. We would love to have you. You could show off and play a different guitar every week for the rest of our lives.

By the way, I used the Eddy Arnold version of the song on YouTube to learn it.

Great to see another 10 Slinger Vid Doug, I did recognize the song Make the World Go Away, but had to look up who recorded it, on Utube, done by many, now including "The Slingers", but it was the Jim Reeves version that I recall listening to back in Days Of Yore. :-)
