Be kind Richard. Some of the best jugs I know are in bands. It’s a hoot to play at the Battle. It’s vaudeville. Anything goes except practicing. There’s usually 7 bands or so. It spreads into their outside tables for all day jammin. Nice cool breezes off Lake Superior. I couldn’t video my own band. I was rushed and we played our set as soon as I went inside so couldn’t get my spouse set up with my pad in the scramble for setup. We did good though. Each Procrastinator got two songs in. We’ve been Battling for about 20 years now. Never missed one. There’s a Battle in Effie Minnesota also in the Autumn. We used to go regularly to that too, but missed it last year. We won that one once. :*)

I assume no jug comments from me, I’ll behave Dave! If the contest is close, do they take it out into the street? Real good stuff Dave, looks like fun. Nice music in a nice setting. Reminds me of Louisiana’s Marsha Ball and Andrews Sisters if you mixed them up in a blender. Notice I used only one g in jug.......I’m truely on my best behavior.
