Thank you James O. I guess this is close to a mandola tuning which is used for classical music and lower but similar to mandolin with a couple strings switched, which might be why it felt sort of familiar :)

Sounds great Derek nice playing Suspended Chords used a lot in Classical playing love that sound really nice to be able to play them on a four-string

Thank you J. Rob! Maybe that is why I liked the tuning, love both those groups! And def have been influenced by them and ELP, Tull, the Moody Blues...

You are right Poorness lol, I was tuning up toward DGBE from DGGD (which I like on this particular guitar), but not sure how the C got in there! Ha :)

Hi Denbo, yes I think you are right, since this has the same notes as a mandola, in fifths, and those are used for all kinds of old and modern music. I was playing more of a minor type scale for the most part. Thanks :)
