NOTE: the temp was low and the guitar refused to stay in tune but I still liked this take best - sorry if that bothers anyone. I decided to take a trip to the legendary Billy Bob's Texas (the world's largest honky tonk) for this morning's video. I chose a 1984 Alabama tune that I felt was perfect for this iconic venue. I hope y'all like it. Yeehaw!

Ha ha. So true. Thanks for checking it out RTZ.
What's Tuning. Just being at Jerry Lee and Jimmy's double first cousins place is cool
Thanks for checking out AD. It's such a fun venue... gotta keep it Texas as they say. I love the way the cajon and CBG sound together. It's big and raw.
Out of tune is it not CBG mandetory ? it gives that Yeeha instant juice to the tune Kale as a electronic enginier you are to pricise sometimes ,no excuse needed ! i allway new billy Bob is not to much of the sorry kind ! great location, Fun Tune ! like that painted Cagon whit the heel plopper its got a good thudd in there ! Thumbs up Poorness !!
Thanks John. I'm not sure I would be all that graceful on a bull (mechanical or otherwise) but then again... I'm not graceful anyway.
Looks pretty warm down there! Good song and the guitar and singing sound good to me, but I think it would have been better had you been riding a mechanical bull. Just saying.
Thanks Kale! I see you are handling the 7ths and minor chords the same way I am.
This is definitely the Slingers Technique Doug. You can use this for the model. I followed this same song structure.
Use 0-0-0 for the G, 5-5-5 for the C, 7-7-7 for the D7, and 9-9-9 for the Em. Yes I realize the latter 2 are D5 and E5 but they work.
1-finger CBGslinging with your 3-string CBG; love it! Great job Kale. Please send the chart so I can add it to our songbook. Happy Sunday!
