I decided to do another quick CBG lesson this month. In this video, I show you how to play the basic blues/rock shuffle. You can play this riff on any 3-string fretted cigar box guitar that is tuned I-V-I (e.g. G-D-G). This is just the rudiments. Once you get this riff down, you can easily create more rhythms from it.
I appreciate that Richard. Thanks for watching.
Excellent Kale! Your videos teach and entertain, well done.
Thanks Doug and Dave. You're absolutely right Dave... there's a hundred different ways to play the basic shuffle.
Nice tutorial Kale. I do it a little different but I like your way too. Nice step down turnaround. I’ll try that.
Great lesson Kale! Worked great on my 2-string Chugger too. I concur with everyone else; it’s fun to play and easy to get groovin' with.
Thanks AGP. I just think this is such a fun thing to play.
Well Done Poorness, love a good CBG Lesson, of which this is one, can't get enough of of 'em :-)
No worries Greg. Thanks for watching.
Great lesson! Just what I need. Thanks Kale.
Indeed AD. So many possibilities with a simple shuffle.
