Original by me played on a 3 string cigar box guitar in DGB tuning. Poplar neck. Vintage box. Piezo, but played unplugged here. 24 inch scale. DGB tuning.
The 61 highway starts up in Bob Dylan country - near Hibbing, Minnesota and runs through Iowa, Missouri, Tennessee and Mississippi. It really is the home of the blues.
Photo of git included in the comments - shown with my small collection of Dave Lynas slides.
I. just went back and listened to one of your videos, Ron. You do fine. Thank you, sir. That DGB tuning makes it easy for me.
Nice video John, wish i could play as well. My poor wife is the only one willing to put up with my playing. Although she prefers I keep it in the shop.
Sweet work Uncle John!! Really cool and great tone. -Glenn
Thanks, Kale. It's a very nice finger chording tuning for, especially for someone like you that plays standard tuning 6.
Cool git. I need to try that DGB tuning. It sounds great. Nicely written, sung, plucked and blown John.
Thanks, Alan and Doug. :)
Good to see you back in action Uncle John! That red headstock really stands out; I like it. Nicely done!
Great to see you shoveled your way to the shed and finished Willy, sounds just fine unplugged, combined with a bit of Huffin' & Puffin' on the Iowa Sax :-)
Thanks James and Andries. It's good enough to keep, but will likely get gifted. I had fun building it. Yup, James. Most of mine need some kind of string guides.
