I really liked this track Rope. Well written, played, and sung. A superb tune and the chugger is holding its own. If I could like it twice I would.

Thanks ADEker! Though a songwriter is usually loathe to share details about the inner working of his song, I’ll say this came about from a trip across Texas sellin’ art outta my VW camper (Ol’ Brown). Misadventures and catastrophes transpired until Brown’s transmission fell out in Houston and put me on a waylay for a month. Long story short, I thought I’d turn my tale into a ramble with a coupla cowboys though the details, the travelin’ and the hard hardluck remain the same.

(lyric is “the rich still count the blessings, and the poor we’re left to curse”. But you prolly know that. -smile.)

Well, BipArtisan, you are a great heaper of praise for sure! Deserved or not, a fella could take somethin’ like that out and paste It right there in a scrapbook, then take it out again and read up on it anytime he’d feel like jumpin’ outta window or somethin’! Bein’ a CountryStar has its own rewards, for sure, but the pay ain’t one of ‘em. ‘Preciate ya!

Two Hobo,s (my assumption) out on the trail, working the Line , trying to get the best out of nothing, like that line ; "the rich still count the blessings, and the ball we left to curve" ,somehow that texas jive is smooth to the Bone and tells the story how it is ! you done it by the numbers !
