Sound sample of Eunice the reso-uke, first with nylon strings then with steel strings. I think the steel sounds better, what do you think?

Comment by Korrigan on January 21, 2018 at 12:19pm: The software I used to combine the two videos equalized the volume so you can't really tell from the video, unless you listen for the background noise, but the steel strings are quite a bit louder. I assume that is because of more tension pressing into the bridge. I tried the nylon at my daughters request but I'm going to stick with the steel and she'll just have to work on her callouses if she wants to play it. : )
